Just you and the words of several different writers, hopping from one character to the next with nothing but a new sweater or a shawl. Under Lisa Peterson’s simple and seamless direction, with a cast of some of the most talented actors I had ever worked with, it was our little play on E. 59th street that moved mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers to laugh and cry.”
