“LES MIZ was a life changing show for me and for the people who saw it. It was my first big Broadway role and I feel so honored to have originated the role of Fantine. I watched the movie with my niece Liana who was 12, and right before Javert is ready to jump into the Seine, and kill himself, Liana says ‘He stole a loaf of bread! Let it go!’ I cracked up and said ‘Liana, if he let it go, there would be no show.’ I had come full circle with LES MIZ in that moment!!”
